Meet the Founder

Simon Woodward MBCS is the founder of ELA Consulting and an IT professional with more than 39 years of experience. Before establishing the company in 2026, Simon spent over 30 years with CNH UK, where he worked across end-user computing, workplace technology, software deployment, document management and business process automation.

His experience includes Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, Power Automate Desktop, SharePoint, OneDrive and Universal Print. He has led projects designed to reduce errors, simplify processes, improve reliability and help people work more efficiently.

Simon founded ELA Consulting to make practical IT expertise available to small and medium-sized organisations. The company supports businesses with automation, technical documentation, workplace systems, document management and the development of secure online solutions, including ISO documentation hubs.

At the heart of Simon’s approach is a simple belief: “If it can be done on a computer, it can be done by the computer.” He applies this principle by identifying repetitive or complex tasks and transforming them into clear, dependable and manageable digital processes.
